Galen Chandler has developed extensive experience in the digital and traditional media industry over the past 25 years. Galen’s experience includes executive vice president in charge of production and digital media, vice president/executive digital producer, and supervising producer for a variety of award winning network, syndicated, documentary, music video, commercial and online initiatives. Galen’s logical and disciplined approach, to a producer’s creative, technical, and administrative duties, have gained him the respect of production communities and agencies worldwide.
Galen has been involved with hundreds of film, television, online and live event projects including, CNN World Report with President Clinton, The Oprah Winfrey Show, the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Entertainment Tonight, and America’s Most Wanted. He's also traveled throughout the United States, Africa, Australia, England, and Canada for companies such as The Carter Center and the Turner Entertainment Group.
Galen is a Co-Founder, Director and the Vice President of the Michigan Production Alliance, was Director and President Elect of the Detroit Chapter of Media Communications Association International in 2005, a past Committee member of the Farmington Civic Theater and a current member of 313Digital Detroit.
Galen has served as both commercial and corporate producer for a diverse and prestigious roster of clients, including The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Air Lines, Inc., General Motors, Turner Entertainment Networks, Ace Hardware, Clorox, HGTV, and MTV.
Galen served as a faculty member of the College for Creative Studies Department of Animation and Digital Media in Detroit, teaching graduating seniors and incoming freshmen. Recently he taught the Business of Film and Video for the Continuing Education department.
